I purchased this new upon release in my final semester in college. One of the real treasures of my metal collection. As an aside, I recently returned from a energized sales conference in Las Vegas with thousands of attendees (early March). Before every executive would enter the stage, they would play a hard rock or heavy metal classic tune to introduce them. Similar to relief pitchers in baseball when they come onto the field. If I were to be in their shoes (and I have no intention of doing so), I would dig a little deeper and find a segment from the title track found here. What a monster of a track this is. A full TEN and a half instrumental thrash metal track that never sits still and gets very intense with real climaxes. It's astonishing to know these Filipino's were still only teenagers living in the Mission District of San Francisco at the time. The rest of the album is no slouch either, with oddly the opener being the weakest and most mundane thrasher here. 'Evil Priest' is another killer track. Ownership:
1987 Enigma (LP). Lyric insert. Acquired in 1987.
1993 Restless (CD)
1987; 2004; 3/4/23 (review)Also own: The Evil Divide
