Two very well known fusion artists collaborate on this album to excellent results. Jan Hammer, originally from Czechoslovakia,, had been a resident of the US since 1968. This would be, in fact, his first recording. Long before fame and fortune came his way, especially with Miami Vice in the 80s. Most of this album sounds like a full band effort, though it's just the duo. Goodman, who is most known for his violin virtuosity (Mahavishnu Orchestra, Flock) also proves to play a mean guitar. And Jan Hammer, who is very well known for his keyboard and synthesizer skills, plays drums here as well. Who knew? So 8 of the songs are collaborative with occasional, shall we say odd, vocals. 'No Fear' is Jan Hammer's solo contribution and 'I Remember Me' is Goodman's (though Hammer does provide background keyboards). Awesome thick production too.
