Popera Cosmic is a very early William Sheller effort, and is pretty close to an exploitation album (there's even a cover of 'Batman' for heaven sake!). But the album cannot be written off so easily, as there are many experimental, avant garde, and flat out interesting instrumental rock segments that are way ahead of its time for 1969. Also sung in French which was still unusual for the rock scene in those days. Maybe not a brilliant album on the whole, but from an historical perspective, it's quite significant. Well worth pursuit.
Ownership: LP: 2018 Finders Keepers. Recent online acquisition (2020). Single sleeve. Comes with a booklet filled with historical data. It seems sourced from vinyl, but it's a good transfer that requires a bit of a volume boost. Great reissue.
Not sure if Musea's CD replicates the booklet. Details are scarce (though it is licensed from Finders Keepers). This replaces the cd-r that made up the original entry.
