Jungle. 1969 USA-Vermont

Vermont based group who ventured to New York to record a demo. It's a late psych era album, and the songwriting is pretty advanced for a band such as this. Some really biting fuzz and other cool instrumentation as well. Way beyond the usual under-produced garage demo. Definitely worth seeking out.

Ownership: LP: 1997 Little Indians (Germany). Really cool blue velvet cover, that makes it worth owning. Otherwise it's probably best to seek out the Red Lounge reissues. Little Indians is the precursor to Shadoks. Other than the awesome cover, it's mostly a brick, with no info. For an album that only had a numbered pressing run of 400 (mine is #203 for reference) some 23 years ago, it's not unattainable (and I bought this not long after release).
