Top 25 Most Important LPs and CDs

Moving this post forward. Gotic reminded me I haven't updated the Top 25 CD page, and actually never did complete the task. The Gotic album itself is currently in 14th place. There are many factors that contribute to that, and it's detailed on the page above. I consider these lists fluid, and they will constantly change over time, especially those in the lower part of the Top 25.

I also reordered many of the LPs.

A few nights ago, while going through the routine of hearing local pick-ups, RT's collection, and weedout albums, I felt a sense of burn out. And certainly it has been a great exercise in hearing things that I otherwise would not. And for every Moxy, Dust, Small Wonder, and Renaissance Prologue, there are countless Gnosis 8's and 9's. Which means I'm spending too much time at the bottom of the stack. Of course, I have every intention of continuing the process, but I need a break from that.

One project that I've had on the backburner for many years is to review my favorite LPs and CDs. Many I already have, while others haven't had much attention paid to them in the last decade plus. For a variety of reasons, I think this would be a good time to start that project.

I'll start with the Top 25 LPs and then go to the Top 25 CDs.

The LPs are tracked here in order. (or see My Top 25 Most Important LPs on the page bar above). Obviously some have yet to be announced.

Just added My Top 25 Most Important CDs as well.
