Peter Banks - Two Sides Of. 1973 England

One of those albums that I pull out every 10 to 15 years and ask myself “Do I really need this?” And each time it sounds better to my ears. I’ve always appreciated Banks’ guitar work, a decidedly grittier edge than what Howe brought to Yes. Over the years, Flash has really risen in my book, all their albums going +1 to +3. And now this is gaining a +1 as well.

Ownership: LP: 1973 Capitol. Gatefold. Online acquisition (2024).

This is an upgrade to one I picked up in 2022. My first copy was purchased at a Denver record store (1994).

1994 (first listen); 2008; 3/17/23 (review/new entry)
