Mirage (1978)

Solstice's debut is a typical dime-a-dozen instrumental fusion with all the ingredients expected. Hard to avoid albums like this in the late 70s. The gimmick here is the lead clarinet. The only thing this album has in common with Camel (as is often purported) is the title of the album.

Reissued with their second album Espresso in 2010 on the Take 5 label from Switzerland.

10/6/19 (review / new entry)
