Ibliss ~ Germany

Supernova (1972)

Ibliss are a superb ethnic jazz rock band with psychedelic flute, percussion, and guitar. Music can best be described as moody / atmospheric mixed with heavy jamming. A bit like classic Embryo, as found on Rocksession, but more loose and free.

I didn't care much for this album when I first bought it and traded it out. Today I would have kept it, but I'm more than fine with the CD.

Ownership: 2009 Garden of Delights (CD). Booklet with history and photos. Acquired in 2010.

First copy: 1972 Spiegelei / Aamok (LP). Acquired in 1988.

1988; 6/15/07; 7/30/09; 1/2/10 (review); 6/28/26

9/9/11 (new entry)
