When I settled again in UK and moved to Bristol I met Keith who ran the Great Western Light Show. I roadied with him just for the kicks and found he had backed Quintessence extensively, but by this time ('72-3) I think they had faded. They had given him a large collection of highly colourful slides they'd shot in India - hindu deities and the like. Keith fastidiously abstained from using these at gigs of other bands as I guess he thought it would be sacriledge. We toured the UK university circuit with acts as diverse as Help Yourself/Man and Hot Chocolate, but the taste for spaced out light shows was dying back, and also Keith & I both had full-time jobs, so it petered out.
